The museum is partnering with the Rio Grande Valley Society for Neuroscience Chapter to offer online presentations by nervous system researchers, perfect for adults and teens interested in expanding their awareness of brain science.

The harmful use of alcohol is implicated in the cause of more than 200 disease and injury conditions and alcoholism is among the most burdensome brain diseases worldwide. This presentation will discuss the symptoms, manifestation and known mechanism of the cause of alcoholism and available effective treatment interventions.
