Earth Optimism at IMAS
In collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution, RGV teens are invited to participate in Earth Optimism at IMAS. Teens will create a 2-minute video to share their observations and ideas on how to promote practices for a sustainable future.
 
Videos will be entered into a global competition and winning videos will be screened in Washington, DC in 2021 through the Smithsonian’s Earth Optimism initiative. Teens may participate in one of the three virtual workshop sessions with IMAS. This workshop runs for 3 weeks from 11/30/2020-12/21/2020.
 
Participants will be lent filming equipment and software to complete their video. Participants are asked to attend weekly meetings via Google Hangouts on Mondays afternoons, and individual check-ins through gmail, during their workshop period. Participants must be ages 13-18.
